Frequently Asked Questions

How long are sessions?

All new clients should book 90 minutes.  New clients receive a complete assessment.  This assessment is used to build sessions to address pain and postural distortion in the body.  Each session will include a detailed discussion of how your body feels in movement and a visual assessment of joint mobility (or lack of mobility) will be looked at.

Follow-on sessions can be 60 minutes or 90 minutes based on the needs and desires of the client or at my suggestion.  Each session is "built" to address each unique client, their body, their pain and/or their lack of mobility.  Varied techniques will be used based on the needs of the individual.

How should I be dressed for my session?

I always suggest wearing something that you may wear to the gym. Shorts and t-shirts for men, and shorts with a sports bra under a t-shirt for women. After a movement assessment and possibly some work seated on the table, I will step out of the treatment room and have clients disrobe to their comfort level and be on the table, under the sheet and blanket, before my return to the treatment room.
